‘บ้านปู เน็กซ์’ บริษัทลูกของบริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมผลักดันแผนพัฒนาจังหวัดขอนแก่นสู่ สมาร์ทซิตี้ ผนึก ‘ภาคีเครือข่ายพัฒนาเมืองขอนแก่น’ ลงนามความร่วมมือ ‘โครงการพัฒนาสมาร์ทซิตี้จังหวัดขอนแก่น’โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการร่วมศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการนำพลังงานสะอาด และเทคโนโลยีพลังงาน เข้าไปติดตั้งในพื้นที่เขตจังหวัดขอนแก่น พร้อมร่วมกันผลักดันการใช้พลังงานสะอาดอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ ขานรับนโยบายพลังงาน 4.0 และแผนแม่บทการพัฒนาเมืองขอนแก่นสมาร์ทซิตี้ 2029 เพื่อยกระดับการใช้พลังงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพ และยั่งยืน ช่วยลดมลพิษ และผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในระยะยาว ตลอดจนสร้างคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีให้แก่ชาวขอนแก่น
นางสมฤดี ชัยมงคล ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) และบริษัท บ้านปู เน็กซ์ จำกัด กล่าวว่า “บ้านปู เน็กซ์ เป็นผู้ให้บริการพลังงานสะอาดชั้นนำในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก ที่ดำเนินธุรกิจภายใต้กลยุทธ์ Greener & Smarter ของบ้านปูฯ เดินหน้าสานต่อความมุ่งมั่นนำนวัตกรรมความรู้ และโซลูชันด้านเทคโนโลยีพลังงานที่หลากหลายมาเติมเต็มการใช้ชีวิตให้แก่ทุกภาคส่วน ล่าสุดผนึกความร่วมมือกับภาคีเครือข่ายพัฒนาเมืองขอนแก่น โดยจะร่วมศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการสร้างระบบนิเวศด้านการใช้พลังงานสะอาดที่ครบวงจร อาทิ การติดตั้งระบบผลิตไฟฟ้าจากพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ การวางระบบสายส่งไฟฟ้าอัจฉริยะ การศึกษาการนำระบบกักเก็บพลังงานเพื่อเสริมศักยภาพการใช้พลังงานอย่างเหมาะสม การพัฒนาระบบขนส่งอัจฉริยะ การวางระบบสัญจรทางเลือกสาธารณะรองรับส่วนต่อขยายโครงการขนส่งมวลชนรถไฟฟ้าระบบรางเบา รวมถึงการนำเทคโนโลยีพลังงานสมัยใหม่อื่นๆ มาใช้ในเมืองขอนแก่น เพื่อสนับสนุนการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมอัจฉริยะ (Smart Environment) ส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานสะอาดอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม พร้อมช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีให้กับชาวขอนแก่น และร่วมขับเคลื่อนขอนแก่นเข้าสู่การเป็นสมาร์ทซิตี้ตามแผนพัฒนาเมืองฯ

นายกมลพงศ์ สงวนตระกูล ประธานหอการค้าจังหวัดขอนแก่น กล่าวว่า “หอการค้าจังหวัดขอนแก่น มุ่งมั่นที่จะเป็นแกนหลักของภาคเอกชนที่ร่วมขับเคลื่อนภารกิจสำคัญในการร่วมพัฒนาจังหวัดขอนแก่นสู่การเป็นเมืองอัจฉริยะ (Smart City) ที่สอดรับกับนโยบายขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจไทย 4.0 ซึ่งหัวใจสำคัญของการพัฒนาสมาร์ทซิตี้ คือ การเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกภาคส่วน ทั้งภาครัฐ เอกชน และประชาชนในพื้นที่เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาเมืองอย่างยั่งยืน ภายใต้แผนทั้ง 6 ด้าน แผนการเดินทางและขนส่งอัจฉริยะ (Smart Mobility) การดำรงชีวิตอัจฉริยะ (Smart Living) พลเมืองอัจฉริยะ (Smart Citizen) สิ่งแวดล้อมอัจฉริยะ (Smart Environment) เศรษฐกิจอัจฉริยะ (Smart Economy) และการบริหารภาครัฐอัจฉริยะ (Smart Governance) ซึ่งทางหอการค้าจะทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้เชื่อมโยงทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อให้การพัฒนาเมืองเป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกันตามแผนแม่บทพัฒนาเมืองฯ
รวมถึงมุ่งส่งเสริมการสร้างระบบโครงสร้างพื้นฐานทั้งด้านกายภาพ (Infrastructure) และรูปแบบอินเทอร์เน็ตออฟติงส์ (IoT) ให้สอดคล้องกับความเป็นอยู่ของคนในพื้นที่ และนำเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาช่วยพัฒนาระบบสาธารณูปโภค และการคมนาคมต่างๆ ให้ทันสมัย และสะดวกสบายยิ่งขึ้น ที่สำคัญจะนำพลังงานสะอาด และเทคโนโลยีด้านพลังงานต่างๆ มาใช้ภายในเมืองขอนแก่นอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม”
นายทรงศักดิ์ ทองไทย ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดขอนแก่น กล่าวว่า “การใช้พลังงานสะอาดในประเทศไทยใน ปัจจุบัน และอนาคต มีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ เนื่องจากทุกภาคส่วนเริ่มให้ความสำคัญ และหันมาใช้กันอย่างแพร่หลาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น พลังงานลม พลังงานจากขยะ โดยเฉพาะพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ซึ่งถือเป็นพลังงานสะอาดที่เหมาะกับสภาพภูมิอากาศของประเทศไทยที่มีแดดตลอดทั้งปี ดังนั้นในฐานะภาคีเครือข่ายฯ จึงมองหาโอกาสที่จะนำพลังงานสะอาดมาใช้กับโครงการพัฒนา Smart City ซึ่งบ้านปู เน็กซ์ จะเข้ามาตอบโจทย์ดังกล่าว เนื่องจากเป็นองค์กรชั้นนำที่มีประสบการณ์ในแวดวงพลังงานสะอาดมายาวนาน ทั้งในระดับประเทศ และระดับภูมิภาค

Banpu NEXT powers sustainable use of energy and partners with
Khon Kaen City Development Network to bring forward clean energy technology in support of Khon Kaen Smart City Development Plan
Khon Kaen – Banpu NEXT, a subsidiary of Banpu Public Company Limited, is joining forces with Khon Kaen City Development Network to help advance smart city development in the province by signing
a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Khon Kaen Smart City Development. Under this MoU, Banpu NEXT will join a feasibility study on Khon Kaen’s adoption of clean energy technology to boost clean energy usage in response to Energy 4.0 policy and Khon Kaen Smart City 2029 master plan. We also put a special emphasis on building physical and IoT infrastructure that are agreeable to local ways of life, as well as adoption of modern technology in infrastructure and transportation development for greater convenience of the residents.
